About this product
Most ashwagandha bottles print a big number and leave it there. A number of milligrams tells you how much powder is in the capsule. It does not tell you how much of the active compound you are actually getting.
This one is built on a standardised extract, and every amount is printed in full.
What KSM-66 is, and why we changed to it
KSM-66® is a branded ashwagandha extract made by Ixoreal Biomed. Two things matter about it.
It is taken from the root only — never the cheaper leaf material that turns up in discount formulas. And it is standardised to at least 5% withanolides, confirmed by HPLC on every batch.
Raw ashwagandha powder is not standardised. Potency swings between harvests, so two bottles with the same milligram figure on the label can contain quite different amounts of the compounds the plant is actually studied for. A standardised extract removes that variation. It is also the most extensively clinically researched ashwagandha extract available.
